From digital files, Gamma’s black & white fiber printing is modeled on the traditional fiber-based material used in conventional photography. Gamma prints on archival, 100% cotton fiberous papers to meet the demanding needs of the finest image makers, galleries and museums. Mould-made in England by St. Cuthbert papermill, a wide selection of Somerset, Hahnemuhle and Cranes Museo acid free material is inventoried. Gamma’s Epson 9900 ensures extremely sharp and accurate placement of ink droplets for enhanced photographic print quality. We use Ultrachrome premier inks which produce impressive midtones and highlights for a wider tonal range.
From a negative, transparency or original artwork, Gamma produces high-res scans on our Creo Scitex Supreme.
Before the final mural is printed a proof is made for client approval.

Technical Information
Due to increasing environment airborne pollutants, there has been an increase in B&W RC paper “bronzing”. This “discoloration” to browns, yellows and greens occurs when oxidizing elements attack the silver within the paper.
